In 2018, Ramadan officially started on the 16th of May. However, millions of Muslims around the world begin their preparations way before the first day. This is the groundbreaking insight that inspired a bold Ramadan campaign from luxury Italian automaker, Maserati: The greatest journeys begin before they start. 
The main campaign film documents the journey of an explorer and photographer, Mohammed Ahmed Ahli, embarking on a journey of personal discovery of the Holy Month and embracing its traditions.
The hero driver creates a parallelism between his story, the brand and his spiritual journey. To portray a sincere and authentic form of storytelling, we have dialogues (Khaleeji) between our main character and the local individuals that we have sourced to enhance the story’s credibility.
